About This Product

The COPIC® Drawing Pen F02 was created for artists who prefer the feel of a fountain pen. This pen has a thicker nib than the COPIC® Drawing Pen F01 and provides a variety of line sizes by simply changing the pressure you apply to the paper.

The F02 pen comes only in the color Black where the F01 comes in both black and sepia.

    • The extra-fine F01 nib is delicate, so please handle it with care.
    • When first used, the slit in the nib may be dry. Test on scrap paper until ink flows smoothly.
    • Keep the silver side of the nib facing up, and gently widen the slit to help ink flow.
    • Use regularly to keep the slit in good condition.
    • Over time, the nib will adjust to your personal writing/drawing style.
    • Always replace the cap when not in use, even for short breaks.
    • If ink dries, try test strokes or touch the nib lightly to a drop of water.
    • Paper fibers may collect on the tip; wipe gently with tissue.
    • Don’t shake the pen (ink may splatter).
    • Avoid extreme temperatures.

The COPIC® Drawing Pen is a delicate writing instrument. Like any fountain pen, special care should be taken when handling any COPIC® Drawing Pen. Be sure to always recap the pen tightly after you're done using it, the pen will dry out if left uncapped. If the pen isn't writing properly, check that the flow-channel to see if it's clogged with paper fibers. To remove clogged fibers, pull away the tip from the pen and wipe gently with paper towels. *Never shake the pen because the ink may leak out.

    CAUTION
Test the pen until the ink flows smoothly. Not recommended for use with watercolors.
